Job Description:

An established and growing urology practice in the Clifton, Colorado area is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its expanding team. The group currently has 6 APPs and is looking to add 1–2 additional providers to support continued growth and patient demand. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider with direct urology experience who is looking for a strong team environment, a balanced schedule, and the chance to practice across both clinic and hospital settings.

The practice is seeking an experienced urology APP who can step into a well-supported role with a mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities. Providers work closely with physicians and fellow APPs in a collaborative setting with established workflows and strong internal support.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage patients in outpatient urology clinic settings
  • Assist with inpatient rounding, consults, follow-up care, and hospital-based urology needs
  • Diagnose and treat a broad range of urologic conditions
  • Provide patient education, treatment planning, and follow-up management
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and support teams
  • Travel occasionally to two southern satellite clinic locations as needed, though primary worksite is in the Clifton area

Schedule & Call

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
  • Call rotation approximately 1 in every 6 weeks
  • No weekends, evenings, or holidays outside of scheduled call responsibilities
  • Strong work-life balance with predictable scheduling

Qualifications

  • Licensed PA or NP in Colorado (or ability to obtain licensure)
  • Direct urology experience required
  • Ability to work independently while functioning well within a team environment
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Comfortable in both clinic and hospital-based settings
